Lighting designers at AECOM selected the LIGMAN Steamer 11 luminaires, mounted on high masts with both twin and single outreaches, to meet the diverse lighting needs of the area. The combination of the high mounting height and the advanced MicroVOS optics ensure an exceptionally uniform, bright, and safe environment for both pedestrians and motorists.
Elevated images of the site clearly highlight the improved colour rendering provided by the LED light sources, especially in contrast to the older High Pressure Sodium lighting on nearby streets. Additionally, these images demonstrate the precise light control of the Steamer luminaires, with a complete cutoff of light above the horizontal, further enhancing the overall efficiency and minimising upward light pollution.
